Avengers Spreadtrum Module 2.2.8: A Complete Look at its Features

The Avengers Box / UMT Pro team has released a new update for the Unisoc module, which supports a wide range of Unisoc (formerly Spreadtrum) processors and models. The update adds new features, such as bootloader unlock, custom loader creation, and improved sim unlock processing. It also fixes some bugs and improves the performance of the tool.

Flash Mode Utils:

This section provides advanced features accessible when the phone is in flash mode:

• Boot Info: Retrieves information about the device's boot partition.
• Remove Simlock: Permanently remove the SIM lock from the device.
• NVRAM Backup/Restore: Allows backup and restoration of NVRAM data.
• Firmware Backup: Creates a backup of the device's firmware.
• Repair IMEI: Repairs the device's IMEI number.
• Repair Factory NVRAM: Restores the factory NVRAM data.
• Remove Privacy (beta): Remove privacy settings on the device (beta feature).
• Remove FRP: Bypasses the Factory Reset Protection (FRP) lock.
• Reset Userdata and Remove FRP: Resets user data and removes FRP lock simultaneously.
• Low-Level Format Userdata: Performs a low-level format of the userdata partition.
• Safe Format Userdata: Safely format the userdata partition without affecting other partitions.

Diag Mode IMEI SN WIFI:

This section allows reading and writing of IMEI, SN, and WIFI information in diagnostic mode.

Diag Mode Simlock:

This section allows reading, removing, and restoring simlock information in diagnostic mode.

Firmware Flasher:

This section allows flashing firmware files onto the device in various formats:

• Pac File Flasher: Flashes pac firmware files.
• XML File Flasher (Read Firmware): Flashes firmware read from the device in XML format.
• Firmware Settings: Configures various flashing options.
• Flash Phone: Initiates the firmware flashing process.

Write NVRAM:

This section allows writing NVRAM data to the device with various options:

• Default Mode (protect calibration): Writes default NVRAM data while preserving calibration data.
• Write default NVRAM (skip calibration): Writes default NVRAM data and skips calibration data.
• Skip write nvram: Skips writing NVRAM data and only flashes the firmware.
• Repartition: Repartitions the device's storage.

Some of the improvements and fixes in this update are:

Added unlock phone bootloader for supported CPUs.

Added possibility to change DM-Verify flag until bootloader unlock.

Enabled write firmware for firmware readed by exe

Added “Erase whole CPU” for supported CPUs. This setting will erase all data from the phone, so users need to perform security backup and have working firmware before using it.

Fixed bug that caused permanent lock after simunlock for some models in flash mode.

Removed unlock bootloader in flash mode as outdated.

Improved FRP reset for supported models.

Improved security backup and restore for supported models.

Improved read/write RPMB

Improved sim unlock processing (fixed bug with simlock type 4)

Improved read firmware.

Added possibility to select manually partitions to read.
